Whittington Church Finances

In common with many other charitable organisations the church at Whittington found that a significant part of its income, mainly from giving, dried up in March . Lockdown and the restrictions since have meant that collections at services and on many other occasions have been considerably reduced . Whilst some outgoings temporarily reduced these will go up again during the winter and there are continuing costs to pay to keep this ancient church going, particularly on Parish Share, our main contribution to the Diocese for clergy and their accommodation.

If you feel you could help in these circumstances and bank online you could donate directly to our main account, Whittington PCC, at Lloyds Bank: 30 99 90, and account no. 00453906. The Worcester South East Team of clergy have introduced ways to continue serving the needs of our parishes and put together a schedule of online services via Zoom each week, to which everyone is very welcome, in addition to services in the church buildings. Sundays 11.00 a.m. Holy Communion or Service of the Word from Whittington

Liturgy to print is available for Sunday services. For other services the host has the liturgy on their computer and shares their screen with you so that you can join in with the service.
